As many of you already know, I was let go about a year ago as a furniture salesman. Since then, I've had several jobs that didn't pan out. I even sold furniture at a smaller store and tried my hand at being a car salesman. The training for car sales was easy to get through since I've already been in sales.
So I kept thinking about starting a business from home. I've tried several things over the last year. I've bought many of the "guaranteed" money making systems on the Internet and many from the back of many books.
I've found many to be nothing more than scams but there were some that were legitimate. But these were quite a bit different than what they advertised. Hey, this work from home stuff is hard!
I also tried several online businesses ideas, but only one has shown signs of being an income producer.
If you're thinking about starting an online business, the best advice I could give you is to thoroughly research each opportunity. Many of these online opportunities are just ebooks or systems being sold by guru's so they can sell you something else. The information they give comes just short of telling you what you really know. It makes you wonder if these people actually know what they're talking about.
I know there are other business opportunities out there and I look forward to trying many of these. You just have to remember to use common sense and to have patience. I know that any online opportunity you use will take months to pan out, so it's important to have some money put back so you can have something to live off of while you get you get your Internet business going.
