What's up with American Idol this season? Seems everyone who is halfway good is getting voted off, and those who should have been voted off are staying?
My ex-girlfriend and I use to make it our weekly duty to sit in front of the TV and Watch every episode of American Idol. Now that she's gone, I much prefer to TiVo the show and watch it at my luxury. My, my, my how I'm learning the things I missed before I hooked up with her!
Anyway, back to American Idol. I really, really liked Michael Johns and Carly Smithson. I could have done without Carly's "tramp stamp". I thought she was a much better looking woman without them. Everyone could tell that Simon and the gang really wanted Carly to win, but America had other ideas.
And why did Michael John's go home? The dude could belt out a lyric! I'm beginning to think that most of the voters on American Idol are teenage girls and middle to old age women with nothing better to do than sit around and call vote numbers.
It looks like it will be the two David's in the Finals. I personally don't see Syesha Mercado making it. I think she should have been voted off a long time ago, but for some reason she's just been flying beneath the radar.
We'll know in a few weeks at the season finale of american idol.
